The previously installed radio will not function without being unlocked and will display the message “Radio Locked, Please contact dealer“.

A Visteon R013 radio is equipped with a security feature that prevents it from being installed in another car. Each time the radio powers up, it validates security codes with the car security system, and if the codes don’t match, the unit is locked.
The locked radio displays a message “Radio Locked, Please contact dealer“.
