Version 2.8 — July 9, 2026

Applies to: Alliance AIVI & AIVI2 systems

• NEW: Added support for Renault/Nissan AIVI2 head units (Nissan Qashqai 22+, Nissan Ariya 22+, and others Renault/Nissan)
• NEW: Added an AIVI2 wake-up via CAN mode for testing on the bench. Can be used combined Unlock+Wake-up (configured with jumpers)
• NEW: The wake-up signal now works with both older AIVI and newer AIVI2 head units.
• FIX: The unlock process now automatically retries if the head unit isn’t ready when the request is sent, rather than only trying once.
• NEW: Successful learn process on AIVI/AIVI2 doesn’t require manually restarting the unit with a power off/on cycle; the unit restarts and unlocks automatically after the learn process completes.
• FIX: Fixed a case where the system could get stuck after detecting a different head unit connected than the one learned, requiring a power cycle to recover.
• FIX: Fixed the status LED not always turning off correctly after a successful unlock.
• FIX: Fixed a rare conflict that could occur if another diagnostic tool was communicating with the head unit at the same time as the unlock process.
• UPDATE: Improved reliability of diagnostic communication passthrough to the vehicle bus.
