Description

FAP/DPF emulator designed  as a solution for cars with a clogged, broken or not efficient DPF filter (usually DTC P2002 – “Particulate trap efficiency below threshold”  trouble code is set in engine ECU). It simulates new fitted Diesel Particulate Filter .  Emulator should be connected to the engine ECU wiring by several wires.

Toyota Vehicles with 2.0 & 2.2 D-4D & D-CAT engines from 2004 – 2018

Installation

Device has a waterproof design and can be mounted under the engine bonnet with connector pointing down to prevent water penetration to the connector. We recommend to make installation of this device for qualified specialist only

Clogged DPF filter can be removed from exhaust system before or after emulator installation.

Emulator must be connected by several wires to the engine ECU wiring according to wiring diagrams provided.

    Installed this on a 2.2 DCAT, and it works like a charm. Cut open the DPF, take the filter out, re-weld together, and then connect 10 wires to the ECU wire loom. I feel like I have a new car, the turbo response is great, fuel economy has increased, and power restored. Great emulator/simulator that works out of the box.

    Received the unit, and made all the connections and the ECU kept on firing error codes. After having Martynas walk me through all the process and kindly answering all my questions we realized there was a problem with the unit itself. Martynas sent me a new one free of charge with no hesitation. The new unit has been working perfectly since then.
